New York-based Oyster will continue to operate out of the city and be incorporated into Smarter Travel Media, TripAdvisor’s media group which also includes Bookingbuddy.
A brief statement from TripAdvisor says Oyster will be a “strong addition” to the TripAdvisor brand.
The statement also says Oyster has collected reviews and photos of about 150 cities.
