Passenger shuttle buses and inter-provincial chartered bus services coming in and out of Beijing will be gradually resumed in an orderly manner.

China's transport ministry on Thursday released a notice to further implement optimized epidemic prevention and control measures for people arriving in Beijing, removing the requirement for them to do nucleic acid testing.

Passenger shuttle buses and inter-provincial chartered bus services coming in and out of Beijing will be gradually resumed in an orderly manner, according to the notice.

The nucleic acid testing requirements for travelers arriving in Beijing by shuttle buses, chartered vehicles, inter-city buses and taxies will be removed, and passengers will not need to present negative nucleic acid testing results or health codes, said the notice.

The authorities still urged stations to strengthen COVID-19 prevention for their employees. They should strictly implement regular nucleic acid testing and daily health monitoring for front-line employees. They are also required to strengthen anti-COVID-19 management and remind passengers to wear face masks while traveling.
