Ctrip has made a strategic investment in boutique hotel and alternative accommodation brand Lagom, according to Lagom’s announcement. The online travel giant also invested in boutique chain Jiuqi last September.
Lagom, a newly established alternative accommodation brand, announced that it has won a strategic investment from Chinese online travel giant Ctrip.
Ctrip invested in boutique inn brand Jiuqi in September 2016. It also invested in several funding rounds of Tujia, an online platform for vacation rentals in China's tourist destinations.
Lagom was founded in October 2015 and specializes on destination inns and boutique hotels. The company has properties in tourist destinations Dali and Xiamen and also several properties under development. (Translated by Jerry)
