OneLink Corporation has added second partner in the UK travel distribution market in Vertical Group. (1/4/2007)
The Vertical Group, a provider of computerised travel agency management systems, tour operator management systems, and point of sale solutions, currently services over 10,000 travel Professionals.
For OneLink, the contract builds upon the market opportunity created by the signing of partner Red Sky IT (also representing approximately 10,000 UK travel professionals).
Bill Guerin, chairman and chief executive officer, OneLink said: “With the addition of a second major partner in the UK travel distribution market, we are confident of establishing a strong presence in this major European travel market when these two systems integrations are completed. Our ability to provide travel agents with guaranteed commissions on hotel bookings will give us a truly compelling advantage in this market.”
The OneLink service contract provides for a dynamic XML link to the innovative booking engines and desktop systems provided by the Vertical Group.
“Performing integrations with both Vertical Group and Red Sky IT in parallel will be very favourable to our costs and timeline for going live, accelerating our time to market and realisation of potential transaction revenue,” said Guerin.
