December 20, 2006 Hyatt Hotels & Resorts is expanding the Hyatt Touch to the retail home décor and furnishings market through the launch of HyattAtHome.com, an online store featuring high quality Hyatt and partner-branded luxury products.
The new HyattAtHome.com store, its products and delivery service parallel the culturally authentic experience guests expect from Hyatt, a leading collection of 217 hotels and resorts consistently rated among the best properties around the world.
“Guests expect premium products in our rooms,” said Joan Lowell, vice president of electronic distribution at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. “We are now able to offer those products to our guests in their homes, so they can feel the Hyatt Touch whenever they choose.”
Following the easy to navigate online store experience, customers who purchase Hyatt’s Grand Bed are treated to HyattAtHome.com’s White Glove Delivery service, an example of Hyatt extending its well-known customer service to the new retail program.
White Glove Delivery Service includes red bow wrapping around the mattress, complete assembly and removal of old mattress upon request. Products for every room of the home are available for purchase on the site, including Bedding - The complete Hyatt Grand Bed; Hyatt’s custom Sealy Posturepedic mattress; The Grand Bed Mattress Pad and Super Topper; Grand Pillow in king and standard sizes from Pacific Coast Feather Company and more.
