Online travel company MakeMyTrip.com has raised $13 million in its second round of funding. (12/18/2006)
The investment comes from three venture capital firms - Helion Ventures, Sierra Ventures and existing investors, SB Asia Infrastructure Fund (SAIF).
Deep Kalra, founder and chief executive officer, MakeMyTrip.com said the investment will be used for enhancement in infrastructure and technology capabilities as the business gears up to serve over two million customers in 2007.
MakeMyTrip is on track to record sales of US$130 in the current fiscal year ending March next year, effectively registering a growth of 200 percent from the previous year.
