The system was originally launched in December 2012 as module which could be plugged into a hotel, restaurant or attraction’s Facebook page to displayed its associated reviews.
The new version, released in-late June this year, allows fans of a product to post their reviews from within the Facebook page of the business without the need to visit the main TripAdvisor site.
The update was automatic for any business which had already installed the application on their respective Facebook page.
