Shanghai Airlines has expanded its code-sharing with Deutsche Lufthansa AG increasing the total number of code-sharing flights between the two carriers to 12.
From March 29, 2009, the two airlines began to add three weekly roundtrip code-sharing flights between Nanjing and Frankfurt. The flights are operated by Lufthansa Airlines, a part of of Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
It is learned that members of Shanghai Airlines´ Frequent Flyer Program will receive bonus mileage on the new flights and can use it to exchange for gifts provided by Shanghai Airlines and other members of Star Alliance.
