Sprice.com finds new partner in Asiarooms.com
Friday, 19 September 2008: Asiarooms.com has just announced a new partnership with leading European real-time travel search engine Sprice.com, which sees its inventory added to Sprice.com’s offering.
With this addition, Sprice.com now becomes the most extensive travel search engine in the Asia Pacific region through the integration of 170 travel partners.
“Since Sprice.com was established in 2006, we have experienced phenomenal growth, both in visitor numbers and partnerships with leading travel suppliers. With Asiarooms.com coming on board, we are confident that we will cross the half-million-visitor mark in this region by the end of 2008,” said Vikas Gulati, Sprice.com VP Asia Pacific.
“One of Sprice.com’s core objectives is to provide visitors with rich and localised travel offers and information. With an extensive network of 60,000 hotel partnerships around Asia Pacific, Asiarooms.com will, without a doubt, support us in meeting this objective and satisfying user demand.”
Last month Singapore’s localised version of Sprice was unveiled. For future localised versions, Sprice.com is looking at India, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand.
“We are extremely pleased with this mutually-beneficial arrangement. While Sprice.com represents an opportunity to us to further extend our exposure in the region, we provide Sprice.com’s users with greater access to a wider range of hotel deals and information online,” said John Fearon, Asiarooms.com Head of Marketing, in response.
“As an innovative and user-friendly website, Sprice.com was chosen for its strong value proposition as a cost-effective online marketing tool for Asiarooms.com.”
Sprice.com has 2.5 million users in Europe alone in a month, and books more than 500 requests a day.
