At the 2026 Feishu Infinite Future Conference and Doubao Work Launch Conference held on September 15, Trip.com Group’s corporate travel unit Trip.Biz showcased its latest integration of AI-powered business travel capabilities with ByteDance’s Doubao Work platform.
Trip.Biz and Feishu already have a mature system integration in place, allowing employees to access Trip.Biz directly through Feishu to make business travel bookings.
This latest AI ecosystem integration marks an upgrade in travel management for the AI agent era. Companies do not need to undertake additional development, and employees no longer need to jump to another platform. Instead, users can simply interact with Doubao Work to access Trip.Biz’s specialized business travel AI for travel policy inquiries, trip planning and bookings.
In practical terms, the upgrade significantly shortens the booking process. Under the traditional model, booking a flight and hotel typically involves more than 10 steps, including searching, filtering, comparing options, entering information and placing an order, taking an average of more than 15 minutes.
Employees also need to check their choices against corporate travel policies themselves. For companies without a corporate travel platform, employees may have to switch between multiple platforms for travel applications and bookings, followed by a separate reimbursement process after the trip.
With the new Doubao Work integration, employees only need to enter their travel requirements in the chat window.
The AI automatically accesses corporate travel policies and real-time inventory to recommend the best-fit options within the company’s compliance framework. Once confirmed, the flight and hotel can be booked together with a single click.
For example, an employee can simply type, “Book me an Air China flight to Beijing tomorrow morning and a contracted hotel closest to China World Trade Center.”
The system can then automatically recommend an itinerary based on corporate travel policies, historical preferences, flight status and contracted rates. The entire process takes just three steps and can be completed in one to two minutes, making it about 10 times more efficient than the traditional process.
Trip.Biz has integrated its travel Q&A agent and travel booking agent into Doubao Work as “connectors.”
The former covers more than 93% of business travel Q&A scenarios, including corporate travel policy inquiries, real-time resource recommendations and travel information such as flight and train schedules.
The latter offers two core capabilities—trip planning and one-click booking—and supports recommendations combining multiple segments into a single itinerary.
