The launches have been pushed back to October.

According to AeroRoutes, Juneyao Airlines has recently updated its flight schedule, adjusting the launch timeline for two new Southeast Asia routes. The carrier has postponed the planned launches of its Shanghai Pudong–Jakarta and Shanghai Pudong–Manila services, which were originally scheduled to begin in June 2026. Both routes are now set to launch in October.

The Shanghai Pudong–Jakarta route will commence on October 20, 2026, operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with an Airbus A320neo.

* HO1567 departs Shanghai Pudong at 09:10 and arrives in Jakarta at 14:45.
* HO1568 departs Jakarta at 15:45 and arrives in Shanghai Pudong at 23:35.

The route was originally scheduled to launch on June 20, 2026.

The Shanghai Pudong–Manila service will begin on October 17, 2026, operating five times weekly with an Airbus A320 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

* HO1565 departs Shanghai Pudong at 22:20 and arrives in Manila at 02:10 the following day.
* HO1566 departs Manila at 03:10 and arrives in Shanghai Pudong at 06:35.

The service had originally been scheduled to launch on June 19, 2026.

According to filed schedule data, Juneyao Airlines has also arranged several temporary flights ahead of the official launches, including a Shanghai Pudong–Jakarta service on July 30, as well as Shanghai Pudong–Manila round-trip flights on July 24 and July 29.

On June 15, Juneyao Airlines issued a notice outlining checked baggage benefits for its upcoming Manila and Jakarta routes, stating that services to Manila, Philippines, and Jakarta, Indonesia, would launch soon.

The Shanghai–Jakarta market is currently served by two airlines. Competition on the Shanghai–Manila route is even more intense, with three airlines already operating the route prior to Juneyao Airlines’ planned entry.
