In the new flight season (October 26, 2025 - March 28, 2026), there are an estimated 27 scheduled flights per week between Chinese mainland and the United States — still far from pre-pandemic peak levels.
At its height in 2019, China operated 1,621 flights per month to the U.S., equivalent to 400 per week or about 54 per day, carrying roughly 20,000 passengers across the Pacific daily.
The lowest point came in 2022, with only 22 flights in a single month.
Currently, the figure stands at around 430 flights per month, or just 14 per day, representing a recovery rate of less than 30%.
