Beyond numbers, the airport stood out for its focus on service details tailored to different traveler needs.
For the family-travel peak, dedicated security checkpoints were set up for children, with travelers under 17 increasing nearly 20% year-on-year, and young passengers from Sichuan and Guizhou surging over 30%.
To reduce friction for international passengers during the tax refund process, a new departure tax-refund counter was added at the T1 international terminal, boosting efficiency by 60%. After expanding the departure lounge, 30% more seats were installed, ensuring travelers with luggage no longer had to scramble for a place to sit.
