Hainan Airlines resumed its direct service between Beijing and Edinburgh, Scotland, on Friday, marking the return of the seasonal route for this year.
Four flights are available to passengers each week from May 17 to Oct 11.
This is so far the only direct flight connecting Scotland and China, according to Edinburgh Airport. It is important to Edinburgh Airport and the local economy.
