Lifestyle hotelier Atour reports more than 600% rise in annual profit

Chinese lifestyle hotel company Atour said its net revenues more than doubled in 2023 to USD 657 million. GMV generated from retail business was RMB 1,139 million for 2023, up 298.3%. As of December 31, 2023, there were 1,210 hotels with a total of 137,921 hotel rooms in operation across Atour’s hotel network, representing an increase of 27.7% in room number.   
  
IHG signs 24 hotel projects in China

IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the signing of 24 new hotel projects in Greater China during its inaugural owner roadshow of the year in Beijing. The signings mark IHG’s expansion across diverse regions: Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Kunming, Datong, Rizhao, and Ningde.
