Daily news, 05 Dec 2007: SINGAPORE – InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will open 30 Tea Tree Spas in the next two years, tripling the group’s current network of Tea Tree Spas in Australia, Greater China, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

More than half of the new Tea Tree Spas will be located in Greater China, where consumer demand for a spa experience is increasing dramatically. In keeping with IHG’s commitment to listen to its customers, the new Tea Tree Spas offer treatments focused and adapted to today’s lifestyles and preferences, adding significant value to hotel stays.

Anticipating an increase in customer demand and rapid growth across Asia Pacific, IHG is establishing two centres of excellence in Shanghai and Beijing to train and upgrade the skill sets of its therapists.
