Tongcheng Travel, a Hong Kong-listed online travel company, reported that its revenue decreased by 18.8% year-to-year to RMB 1,500.1 million（USD 218.1 million）in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Loss for the quarter was nearly RMB 31.7 million (USD 4.6 million), compared to a profit of over RMB 26.8 million (USD 3.9 million) in the same period of 2021.
The Tencent-invested travel reservation company saw its average monthly active users decreased by 11.5% year-to-year to 211.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Average monthly paying users decreased by 21.1% year-to-year from 30.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2021 to 24.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2022.
GMV decreased by 20.4% year-to-year to RMB 25.4 billion (USD 3.7 billion).
