Friday, 24 August 2007：Best Western plans to double the amount of hotels it manages in Asia by 2010. They will offer three brands, Best Western Premier will be their 4 ½ - 5 star brand, Best Western will be their 4 star brand and they will launch a new brand as their 3 star brand.
They currently have 106 hotels with approximately 20,000 rooms and would like to grow to 200 with 50,000 rooms by 2010. Currently Best Western has 11 hotels in Thailand and this will grow to 18 hotels by the end of 2007. By the end of 2008 Best Western will have around 25 hotels in Thailand alone. Making them one of largest hotel operators in Thailand.
