Global travel deals publisher Travelzoo has acquired a 60% stake in flight deals subscription service Jack’s Flight Club for USD 12 million.
Jack’s flight Club claims to have saved members over £30 million annually in airfares in the three years it has been in business. As of March last year, the firm claimed to have 1.2 million subscribers.
Travelzoo, which claims to have five million subscribers in the UK alone and more than 30 million globally, operates a similar email-based subscription model sending its users a weekly Top 20 deals.
