Sunlight Tourism secures RMB 90 million in Series A round
Sunlight Tourism has launched six projects across the country, including Sun Valley, Sun Coast, Sun Forest, Sunlight Farm, Sunshine Valley and Sun Lake.
Beijing Sunlight Tourism and Culture Operation Management announced at the Sunlight SGP Brand and Strategic Financing Conference in Beijing last Friday that it has received RMB 90 million (USD 13 million) in the latest round of funding, led by Jade Funding. Sunlight Tourism also launched its family vacation brand Sunshine Glamping Parks (SGP).
Positioned as an operator and supplier of full vacation services and enjoyable lifestyle, Sunlight Tourism provides custom holidays for middle-class families who drive themselves on holidays. Since its establishment two years ago, Sunlight Tourism has been deepening its product development and service.
Mr. Jiandong Sun, President of Sun Area Group, said that they will stay more focused on the optimization and replication of content products. With funding support from companies like Jade Capital, the SMART Resorts Industry platform and Davost Tourism, Sunlight Tourism will continue to zero in on vacation camping nature parks and invest in over 100 parks either through direct operation or franchise agreements in the next 3-5 years. Among them, five will be directly managed, 100 franchised and 10 are overseas. Sunlight Tourism aims to achieve operating income of nearly 3 billion yuan and expand its membership of new middle-class families to 4.2 million.
Sunlight Tourism has currently launched six projects across the country, including Sun Valley, Sun Coast, Sun Forest, Sunlight Farm, Sunshine Valley and Sun Lake. Sun Valley is forecasted to achieve over 130 million yuan in total operating income by 2022.
