Bus365, a Beijing-based intercity travel service platform, announced on August 13 that it has raised hundreds of millions of yuan in its B round of financing. SBCVC led the investment. Alibaba’s travel brand Fliggy, Hongxin Tianshi Investment, Springs Capital and China Development VC continued to participate. CV Capital, a long-term strategic partner of the company, was the exclusive financial advisor.
Bus365 has been expanding rapidly since its establishment in 2012, thanks to its underlying ticketing system, data operation experience and smart travel solutions. It is now covering more than 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and has scaled up its ticket sources and integration capability.
As a strategically important partner of Fliggy in passenger transport, Bus365 can reach the 500 million users of Alibaba’s C2C branch Taobao more effectively with its offline outlets. By connecting with the air and train tickets, hotels and vacation packages on Fliggy, Bus365’s services help to close an increasingly extensive loop in the travel consumption.
