Guangzhou-based tourism company Htrip recently announced that it has secured tens of millions of yuan in its Pre-A round of financing, led by Jiuding Investment.
Htrip is a hospitality data operator that aims to help hotels maximize their profits by leveraging big data for hotel services, product lines, membership operation and other aspects.
In 2016, Htrip released its business travel service platform, CT Life, to meet the accommodation needs of business travelers in China. Based on user profiling of business customers, it provides fast and accurate recommendations, customized and intelligent marketing, as well as personalized services.
Htrip moved cinemas into hotel rooms to differentiate its products with innovative content and services. It has also connected the movie membership system and hotel membership system to improve services and retain customers. Looking ahead, Htrip will implement movie-themed hotels as its strategic initiatives and expand across the country.
In the context of new retail, Htrip turns hotels into physical stores by converting offline experience to online shopping. Htrip TV and Htrip WiFi in the hotel rooms are accessing tourism players and travel-related companies for guests.
In 2017, Htrip signed most of its new inventory with Plateno, Dossen International, Vienna and other middle- and high-end hotel chains.
