Theme tour platform Goutrip raises 30 million yuan in Pre-A round
Theme tour service platform Goutrip announced that it has raised RMB 30 million in its series Pre-A round. The firm offers trips on diving, photography, surfing, self-driving and family tours.
Beijing-based theme tour provider Goutrip announced that it has raised RMB 30 million in its series Pre-A round, tech news site 36Kr reported on May 25. The round was completed in late December 2016.
Launched in 2014, Goutrip is a marketplace offering travel consumers mid-scale and high-end tours and services.
The platform operates under the umbrella of Beijing Huizhizongheng Information Technology, which was registered with RMB 100 million.
Goutrip specializes in theme tours for diving, photography, surfing, self-driving and family tours.
Goutrip’s data show it has recruited more than 1,000 travel specialists nationwide and closed around 18,000 transactions last year with a gross turnover of nearly RMB 100 million.
Prior to the latest announced Pre-A round, the company received RMB 10 million in an angel round in August 2015. (Translated by Jerry)
