Sabre revenue rises 6.5% to $915 million in Q1 2017

Sabre reiterated its full-year 2017 guidance in the first-quarter report of 2017. Revenue rose 6.5% to USD 915 million in the quarter.

* First quarter revenue increased 6.5%
* Airline and Hospitality Solutions revenue grew 8.2%
* Travel Network revenue rose 6.1%, with bookings growth of 5.8%
* Net income to stockholders of USD 75.9 million decreased 27.8%
* Adjusted EBITDA of USD 297.6 million, an increase of 3.5%  

Sabre Airline and Hospitality Solutions

First quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions revenue increased 8.2% to USD 258.0 million compared to USD 238.4 million for the same period in 2016.

First quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions operating income decreased 0.9% to USD 46.7 million from USD 47.1 million in the prior-year period. 

First quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions Adjusted EBITDA increased 3.1% to USD 85.5 million from USD 82.9 million in the prior-year period. 

Sabre Travel Network

First quarter Travel Network revenue increased 6.1% to USD 663.5 million, compared to USD 625.5 million for the same period in 2016. 

Travel Network global bookings increased 5.8% in the quarter, driven by 9.6% growth in Asia-Pacific, 8.6% growth in EMEA, 8.4% growth in Latin America and 3.2% growth in North America.

First quarter Travel Network operating income increased 4.6% to USD 252.7 million from USD 241.5 million in the prior-year period. 

First quarter Travel Network Adjusted EBITDA increased 6.2% to USD 290.2 million from USD 273.2 million in the prior-year period.
