Airbnb is relying on razor-sharp product development backed by over 100 Chinese specialists and quality assessment of its listings to strengthen its operations in China, according to Airbnb’s Nathan Blecharczyk. The team has also interacted with China’s design community, meeting specialists from Didi Chuxing, Baidu etc. in the past year or so.

According to Sabre, it is more logical to introduce blockchain in “less demanding” areas first such as in back-end processes including settlement and contract negotiations before moving it “up the chain” to booking transactions.
