Online domestic adventure tour operator Youxiake has raised an undisclosed amount in its A Series financing round led by Tiantu Capital.
Unlike traditional tour operators, Youxiake puts more emphasis on unique routes, shopping-free tours and individualized service and interaction to offer travel enthusiasts original and enriched travel experiences.
Its core tours include the “Bashang Steppe Tour”, “Northwest Trail Tour” and the “West Sichuan Scenic Tour”. It currently has one million registered members and over 100,000 independent webpage visits per day. On average it organizes tours for 2,000 trips per week.
Youxiake’s founders Tianming Zheng and Momo Lin are veteran travelers, photographers and outdoor enthusiasts in China. Their main site is in Hangzhou and they have set up over 10 branch offices in locations including Shanghai, Yunnan, Tibet, Bashang, Sichuan, Northeast China, Xinjiang, Guizhou and Nepal, as well as subsidiaries in Shanghai, Guizhou, Sichuan and Lanzhou.
Youxiake will use the funds from this financing round to develop more unique tours, upgrade its service capacity and its app while consolidating its leadership of the segment.(Translation by David)
