Amex Business Travel offers to recession-proof travel budgets
Daily news, 11 Dec 2008, HONG KONG – To help companies recession-proof their business travel needs and identify further opportunity for cost savings, American Express Business Travel will begin offering a complimentary travel programme assessment to companies of all sizes in each region around the world.
The assessment will analyse key performance indicators such as online booking adoption, non-refundable ticket usage and compliance to preferred suppliers and travel policies.
In 2007, American Express used the same methodology to deliver more than US$1 billion in travel savings for its North American clients.
Companies interested in receiving the free assessment can log on to American Express’ corporate travel online community, www.BusinessTravelConneXion.com. Requests for a complimentary assessment will initially be made available until January 6, 2009 but will be extended accordingly to meet demand.
