The service will resume on February 2nd, 2024.

As Cathay Pacific continues to grow and re-establish flights in a post-COVID recovery phase, it has added one more destination to its India network – Chennai. The airline last operated its Chennai service four years ago and will fly to the South Indian city again from early next year.

Cathay Pacific has announced that it will resume its Hong Kong-Chennai service after four years on February 2nd, 2024. The airline will operate three weekly flights.

The airline will deploy its Boeing 777 aircraft, offering a three-cabin-class layout with 368 seats, comprising 40 in business class, 32 in premium economy, and 296 in economy.

Cathay Pacific hopes that apart from point-to-point travelers, it will also cater to business and leisure travelers seeking connectivity via Hong Kong to other destinations in the Greater Bay Area, the Chinese Mainland, North America, Northeast Asia, and the Southwest Pacific.
