Amadeus invests in CrowdVision to help improve airport experience

Services such as that provided by CrowdVision enables airports to shorten queuing times at security and check-in as well as make faster decisions at busy times.

Amadeus Ventures has invested in CrowdVision which helps airports manage passenger flow.

London-based CrowdVision uses video-based people tracking software and AI to analyse queues and passenger flow to help airports create a better experience.

The company also offers solutions to the retail space, convention centres and transport hubs.

According to the company’s website its customers already include Gatwick, Heathrow and London City airports.

Services such as that provided by CrowdVision enables airports to shorten queuing times at security and check-in as well as make faster decisions at busy times.

This is the 11th investment for Amadeus Ventures and comes after its investment in indoor-mapping specialist Situm in December and Avuxi last October.
