Itinerary designer ZhiNanMao raises millions of dollars in A round
Itinerary design startup ZhiNanMao received millions of dollars in its A round funding.
Itinerary customization platform ZhiNanMao (meaning “Compass Cat”) announced that the company has raised millions of dollars from its series A round financing.
Yuantai Investment Partners Fund, the sole investor of the round, had also invested in other online travel companies such as island tour expert QuLv and outbound travel website WoQu.
ZhiNanMao was inaugurated in 2013. The company’s platform brings together non-staff itinerary design specialists who share their keen interest in travel as third-party service providers, outside their regular jobs as corporate executives, solicitors, mechanical engineers, journalists, financial practitioners, part-time postgraduates and others.
The specialists charge a fee for tour-designing service. Some tour operators in specialized segments such as family holidays, diving tours or self-drive holidays also work with experienced itinerary designers on ZhiNanMao’s platform to come up with niche itinerary solutions. (Translated by Jerry)
