Ebookers promotes interactive calendar

Ebookers launched an interactive desktop calendars, enabling customers to find out about new travel deals far quicker than they’ve ever been able to before, according to the company.
The calendar will show different images from around the world for each month, highlighting global events such as Nevada’s Burning Man, Dragon Boat Festival in Hong Kong or the World Snow Festival in Switzerland - all automatically updated by ebookers remotely. A summary of daily activities and events can also be viewed by rolling over the calendar icon while clicking on a specific date will expand to a full view of that day’s events. Users can even add their own special dates and occasions for work, family and personal travel needs.
The calendar will go live with 10 launch offers, including a ten night Bangkok and Phuket holiday from £728 per person, including flights with Thai Airways from Heathrow, three nights room only in Bangkok at the Radisson and seven nights room only in Phuket at the four-star Karona Resort and Spa (valid for departures from 10th January - 7th April 2006). Other deals featured will be holidays to Dubai for £445 per person, Goa for £692 per person and Australia from £1,072 per person.
