China has shown green shoots of travel recovery since the past Labor Day holiday in early May, registering more than 110 million domestic tourists in May 1-5 and recording a tourism receipt of RMB 47.56 billion (USD 6.7 billion). 

In the meantime, with regulators in Europe, America and Asia easing restrictions on travel, airline companies across the world have planned to resume some of their flights to China in June. 

* Qatar Airways has taken initial steps in restoring 52 flight destinations by the end of May, and 80 destinations by the end of June which include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

* Turkish Airlines has announced its preliminary plan to resume some of its international and domestic flights from June to August, with destinations including Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul, Frankfurt, Berlin, Beirut and Tel Aviv.

* United Airlines hopes to return to China in June and resume four routes to Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai.

* Korean Air will resume flights to Beijing, Shanghai Pudong and other places in June.

* Etihad Airways will gradually resume full operations by the end of June based on the improvement in the global situation.
