CMNet offers substantial new content to Worldspan´s hotel database, representing all global hotel chain properties located in Brazil and Argentina, the properties of national chains in Brazil and Argentina, plus a significant number of independent hotels offering reach to destinations in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. An interface between CMNet´s central reservations platform and the Worldspan GDS will allow Worldspan subscribers worldwide to shop and book CMNet inventory using the latest technologies, and receive instant confirmations from hotels. To create an interface to the Worldspan GDS, CMNet is taking advantage of Worldspan XML Pro messaging technology, the leading global IP data exchange tool for travel supplier-GDS connections.
