ChinaTravelNews - Guotai Junan Securities announced a strategic investment in Blossom Hill Hotels and Resorts on January 23.
Established in 2009, Blossom Hill is operating 15 hotels with a total of 400 rooms under the mission statement “Sharing beauty and happiness”. It will use the funding from Guotai Junan to achieve the ideal of translating culture into experiential products not limited to hotels, using its brand advantage and resources and a new e-commerce concept.
Guotai Junan is zooming in on its distribution in the resort sector with the investment in Blossom Hill. Its general manager Yu Zhang said: "We are prioritizing investment in companies that are developing in line with the evolution of the traditional travel industry and in step with China's economic development. We feel the Chinese tourism and vacation industry has tremendous potential for growth. Blossom Hill is gaining brand power with its boutique hotels and resorts model setting a benchmark for the niche market.
