Qunar’s open platform will have a massive amount of user behavioral data and the general industry data. This will help airline companies optimize air routes and ticket prices, and help suppliers provide better customer solutions and support. The interfaces of transaction management, fare policy management, financial management and other services can be used to improve efficiency.
Qunar will also open its customer service, operational, and technology resources for all users. The open supplier chain includes all of Qunar’s operations such as: air tickets, train tickets, hotels, resorts, taxis etc. The opening of Qunar’s customers will make it possible for the whole industry to do directed marketing and major-client purchasing. Qunar will make incubation funds available for entrepreneurs in the industry and provide them support. It will also open up another channel for Qunar to explore new possible acquisitions.
Qunar has already made several breakthroughs in the standardized tools offered on the platform. Qingdao Airlines increased their sales by 90% after joining the platform. Currently, several other airlines including Donghai Airlines and Urumqi Airlines have been joining Qunar’s platform to use the systems.
