Greater China Hospitality held their 2014 Media Workshop

11th of September 2014, Greater China Hospitality (H.K.) Limited (Hereinafter referred to as Greater China Hospitality) along with their main brands Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale and Howard Johnson in China, held their 2014 Media Workshop in the Executive Lounge at Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai.

Secretary General of Shanghai Tourism Industry Association Mr. Chen XueYu, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of Greater China Hospitality Mr. Stephen Chung and VP of operations Mr. Joseph Soh attended the event.

Greater China Hospitality entered the Chinese market with their first hotel opening in 2000. As of August 2014, the company manages 52 hotels in 34 cities across the country. At the media event Mrs. Kelly Cheng, Company Director of Sales & Marketing, gave a detailed presentation on Greater China Hospitality’s last few years of development, introduced the main brands of Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale and Howard Johnson, as well as providing a preface for bright future ahead with their newly opening hotels.

Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hotels & Resorts are a platinum five-star hotel brand, well known for lavish room amenities and exquisite attention to detail. Currently the brand operates in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Jiangyin, Kunming, Changsha and Hainan.

The Howard Johnson Hotels & Resorts brand includes the following five brand tiers: Howard Johnson Plaza, Howard Johnson Business Club, Howard Johnson Resort, Howard Johnson All Suites and Howard Johnson Hotels. The Howard Johnson family of brands offer a tiered, unique and memorable experience for every type of guest.

In 2014, Greater China Hospitality has already established five new hotels: Howard Johnson Tianyu Plaza Yingtan, Howard Johnson Jinghope Serviced Residence Suzhou, Howard Johnson Agile Plaza Chengdu, Howard Johnson Kangda Plaza Qingdao and Howard Johnson Tianyuan Resort Jiuzhaigou.

From 2014 to 2015 there are around 20 hotels scheduled to open, located in major cities and some emerging tourist destinations.
Greater China Hospitality is also committed to all kinds of social welfare undertakings, to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. The company joined Coca-Cola China and The One Foundation in sponsored activities focusing on helping children in poor areas through the implementation of portable water facilities, along with hotel donation activities. 
2014 Media Workshop has brought the attention of nearly 50 major newspapers, fashion magazines and broadcast media brands with strong support and participation.
