• Amadeus hires new R&D boss. Hervé Couturier will become executive vice president of development and replaces the retiring Jean-Paul Hamon. Couturier has previously worked for SAP (as executive vice president), IBM and Business Objects. The R&D division at Amadeus claims to have around 4,500 people working on various software development projects.
