Expedia lost its coveted place as the most popular travel site in the UK last week, seeing rival web brand Thomson move in to pole position with a slender lead.
The online travel agency has held the spot since early this year but a 0.2% drop in market share saw it fall into second place as Thomson added 0.1% to its own tally from the week before.
Thomas Cook, Lastminute.com and TravelRepublic remain in third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.
