Given that the Hipmunk experience is based on a highly visual and, well, wide format it was always going to be interesting to see how it would migrate to a mobile app.
Released into the Apple appstore today, Hipmunk has produced an iPhone app covering four of the main functions of its existing flight search service.
After entering the usual From and To fields, plus dates and destination, fare type, dates and number of passengers travelling, the app sends users to a remodelled version of its results screen.
