Published: 12 Feb 2009: Ryanair has signed a new partnership with Alan Rogers Travel for offering campsite holidays to its passengers in Europe.
The airline´s passengers will initially be able to choose from 500 campsites growing to over 2,000 in more than eight countries across Europe, by logging on to Ryanair.com.
"The camping choice, which is becoming increasingly popular with young families, will allow our passengers access to cheaper campsite accommodation in Europe and help families beat the recession," said Ryanair´s Sinead Finn.
On the partnership, Mark Hammerton, managing director, Alan Rogers said, "It has come at an ideal time as recession-suffering holidaymakers look to camping and mobile homes as a cost-effective holiday option once more. With Ryanair´s guaranteed lowest fares and instant Europe-wide distribution our partnership will lower the cost of camping for millions of European consumers by forcing high-price camping operators to cut prices to compete with us and Ryanair."
