Published: 23 Sep 2008: Travel Distribution Systems Pty Ltd (TDS) is to soon release a new computer distribution system, ARENA.
The Melbourne-based company shared that the new dynamic web application has been developed to consolidate reservation services and reduce distribution and operational costs for the travel and tourism industry.
Norman Collins, CEO, TDS said that the company has invested in this development to support the industry and provide suppliers and agents with free access to a global distribution network.
ARENA launches in November and both suppliers and retailers can now register for free access to the system at www.tdsworld.com.
"ARENA will only be available to industry members with distribution costs based on capped transaction fees charged to service suppliers for confirmed reservations. The service is totally free for travel agents or tourism retailers with usage governed by the system´s terms and conditions," said Collins.
"ARENA can also be configured to provide in-house reservations with the added advantage of distribution. Called ARENAOne, this facility is fully managed and provides a cost effective alternative for companies seeking a new in-house reservation system," added Collins.
