China's civil aviation sector has started the new winter and spring flight season. During the five-month period from October 30 to March 25 next year, more than 100 domestic and international airlines will operate over 100,000 passenger and cargo flights each week.
As the new flight season begins, Sichuan Airlines has decided to increase international flights, reintroducing nearly 300 routes, 30 of which will be brand new.
According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, during the new season, 127 domestic and international airlines will operate over 100,000 passenger and freight flights every week. 93,000 domestic commercial passenger flights are planned.
