Barclays and AirTran Airways have come up with AirTran Airways A+ Business Card offering for small business customers. (8/9/2007)
The card provides small business owners with more opportunities to earn reward travel, tools to help them better track and manage spending, plus other great benefits.
“Since business travelers are such an important target audience for AirTran, they wanted to design a special credit card offering that would give small business owners extra value in addition to the great benefits offered by the AirTran consumer credit card,” said Chuck Moore, Chief Marketing Officer, Barclays US credit card business.
“With a low annual fee and features such as greater flexibility, reporting tools and a unique rewards program, the A+ Business Card is a compelling offering for business owners across the US,” said Moore.
The new card also gives business owners the flexibility they need to better manage their finances, with simplified expense management, spend tracking and reporting tools, and a generous credit line up to $50,000. Business owners can request free additional cards for employees, enabling them to earn rewards faster, while easily controlling and tracking employee spending.
“The AirTran Airways A+ Visa card has been such a success that it was only natural that we would extend the benefits to our loyal business travelers,” said Tad Hutcheson, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, AirTran Airways.
Hutcheson added that the new A+ Business Card will give business owners the tools and flexibility they need to manage their business spending, while earning reward travel faster.
The AirTran Airways A+ Business Card rewards cardholders with the opportunity to receive up to 18 A+ Rewards credits -- more than enough for a roundtrip ticket. New cardholders are awarded eight A+ Rewards credits after their first purchase, and have the ability to earn up to 10 more A+ Rewards credits for balance transfers. In addition, cardholders earn two points for every dollar spent on AirTran Airways purchases, and one point for every dollar spent on all other purchases. There is no limit to the number of points that can be earned. The card has an annual fee of $39.
