Beijing (XFN-ASIA) - Beijing Capital International Airport Co Ltd (HK 0694) said passenger throughput in June rose 12.4 pct year-on-year to 4.503 mln people.
Passenger traffic on domestic routes rose 11.3 pct from a year ago to 3.435 mln people in the month, while traffic on international routes, including to and from Hong Kong and Macau, was up 16.4 pct at 1.068 mln.
The airport operator said cargo traffic in June rose 13.8 pct from a year earlier to 83,000 tons.
In the first half, total passenger traffic rose 15.6 pct year-on-year at 25.965 mln people while cargo throughput also increased 15.6 pct to 496,000 tons.
The airport handled 34,960 landings and takeoffs in June, up 11.2 pct from a year earlier, with 201,510 in the first six months, up 12 pct.
