Collinson says it hopes to create an incubator to support other startups operating in the same sphere of customer loyalty and service platforms.

Two consumer apps for ordering services at airports have caught the attention of loyalty e-commerce provider Collinson.

Inflyter and Grab will both receive undisclosed investment from Collinson as part of its strategy to support up-and-coming startups in the sector.

Neither company has received any significant funding rounds to-date.

France-based Inflyter provides search and ordering tools for passengers wanting to reserve Duty Free products ahead of arrival at the airport.

Users search and pay for goods on the app and then collect either on their outbound or inbound journey at the airport.

U.S.-based Grab (not to be confused with GrabTaxi) is an airport service booking app.

It allows passengers to order food at retail outlets at airports in Europe and North America, plus includes integration with expense platforms such as Concur for business travelers.

Collinson says it hopes to create an incubator to support other startups operating in the same sphere of customer loyalty and service platforms.
