Mobility service Zeelo has raised £4.25 million in funding.
ETF Partners, which specializes in investment in sustainable companies, led the round with existing investor InMotion Ventures and angel investors also involved.
U.K.-based Zeelo uses data analytics to provide a shared mobility service for under-served areas.
The company, which was founded two years ago, says its artificial intelligence driven algorithm enables it to devise routes that meet customer needs.
Zeelo says its on-demand coach platform integrates with more than 20,000 vehicles across the UK to provide transport to customers for events as well as commuters.
The company says the investment will go towards developing its technology including in-vehicle technology and the on-board experience.
It also hopes to launch further verticals adding to its existing services ZeeloCommute, ZeeloEvents and ZeeloPrivate.
The startup also says it plans to expand further across the UK as well as new markets including Africa.
