Hotel bookings in France are dominated by third party sites - and growth of the direct channel is tipped to slow over the next five years.
Online hotel sales across the board have grown by 15% since 2012, and will hit $10 billion in sales by 2022.
Some 70% of hotel sales are for domestic customers, with Paris a huge draw for tourists from in and outside of the country, especially the U.K., Germany and Belgium.
