The number of organisations using room and home-sharing service Airbnb has increased by a third – and the amount being spent is even higher.
Research by Concur, looking at company travel expenses filed through its system, found that the 32% jump in businesses opting for Airbnb coincided with a 42% jump in the overall outlay on stays between the second quarter of 2015 and the same period this year.
The dataset came from companies spending around USD 77 million on 320,000 incidences over the course of two years.
