Festicket raises $6.3 million for fan and brand building

Festicket, an online platform offering music festival packages, has received $6.3m in funding in a round led by Lepe Partners.

Festicket, an online platform offering music festival packages, has received $6.3m in funding in a round led by Lepe Partners.

The companies existing investors Wellington Partners, PROfounders and Playfair Capital also participated in the round.

London-based Festicket has also received backing from Booking.com former marketing chief Arthur Kosten and Jean-Charles Carre, business partner and manager of DJ David Guetta.

According to a statement the investment will go towards “operational and marketing resources” to increase the music fan community as well as the supplier base and the brand.

Zack Sabban, CEO and co-founder, says the company has experienced a 425% year-on-year growth over the past two years.

“We have the opportunity to build a global internet business that can change the face of the live music fan industry. Well over 60 million domestic and international travelers are now willing to experience festivals as holidays.

This latest round comes on top of $2.7m in Series A raised by Festicket just over two years ago. The company also raised seed funding of $680,000 in 2013 bringing its total funding to about $10m.
