The pay-per-use system allows reckons it will “remodel” the skiing industry with its mobile application to connect skiers with products at key resorts around Europe.

Born in Switzerland (it now has 33 resorts signed up around the country), Skioo will soon add resorts in neighbouring countries as part of the investment round.

The system works by paying for ski services such as lift passes and other related amenities onto the application and allowing them to fulfil their tariff after a trip.

Lund Svindal has been joined by fellow Norwegian entrpreneur Gunnar Hvammen and Matthias Thurer as investors in the company.

Three-year-old Skioo says the service allows resorts to “understand the needs of their guests, increase turnover on less busy days and improve loyalty”.
